Drove from Oxford, OH to Greensboro, NC
857 total miles traveled.
Today was a long one.
We left the show in Oxford around 11:30 last night and headed for Greensboro. The drive took a while die to several stops at rest areas for some attempted sleep along the way.
We rolled into Greensboro at about 3:30pm after some intense mountain highway driving and some thick fog at higher altitudes. It’s not “warm” here today by any means, but 36 is much better than the 3 degrees we left behind in Mount Pleasant.
Tonight’s show was interesting. The opening acts Marissa Kay and Old Rusty Mandolin were both pretty great, but the crowd was mostly their family and close friends. Surprisingly they all really enjoyed our set and we seemed to get into much better moods once we hit the stage after being exhausted all day.
A man named Robert was in attendance. A wise, well spoken southern gentleman who said he writes for the New Yorker and was writing a new article that would involve a bit about the show. So, we might be in the New Yorker soon? Crazy.
Anyway. Staying at Nadia’s friend Colin’s house tonight. Watching “Chain Reaction” with Keanu Reeves and Morgan Freeman currently. Much needed sleep and a shower will be great before an early departure for Asheville in the AM.

Our EP “A Million Eyes” is also now available for download on our Bandcamp page.
It’s a “name your own price” set up for the digital version. If you pay ANYTHING for the EP, we will email you a brand new track called “Stethoscope” that we just finished last night and have not yet even played live. We’ll be playing it on Thursday night and throughout the tour, but you can get an exclusive sneak peak by paying even just $1 for our EP on our Bandcamp.
